IDCORE is a UK-based hardware and firmware engineering company specialising in automotive infotainment integration and electronic product development. We work directly with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and major distributors — from initial brief through to production-ready hardware.

IDCORE was founded to address a specific gap in the automotive electronics market: the need for a team that could take a hardware brief all the way from concept to production, with deep vehicle-platform knowledge and the discipline to deliver reliably under NDA.

Our work spans wireless connectivity interfaces, vehicle bus integration, custom firmware development, camera and driver assistance systems, and full electronic product design from schematic through to manufacturing handoff. Every engagement is handled by a single in-house team — no subcontracted development, no knowledge lost between handoffs.

Embedded Firmware Development
From bring-up to field update
Full firmware development for automotive embedded systems — from hardware bring-up and driver development through to application logic, vehicle bus communication, and OTA update mechanisms. Automotive RTOS and bare-metal experience across multiple MCU families.
Vehicle Bus Integration
CAN, LIN, LVDS, MOST
Deep knowledge of OEM bus architectures across premium vehicle platforms. CAN and LIN message analysis, trigger logic development, and factory system retention — steering controls, audio routing, parking sensors, and camera activation.

Schematic to manufacturing
